I don't write a lot of fight scenes, so I'm glad it rang true to you. The story took a much darker turn at the end than I'd planned; after all, the good guys lost, big time. As for what Richard comes up with ... well, it's the worst ending ever, guaranteed. ;-) That I *did* plan all along.
