Oh, by all means I'm complimenting you. I lost track of the fic due to busy-ness around part 6, but came back and read the whole thing through in one night (except the last part--I had to go to work, but I read that as soon as I got home).

And I totally see where you're coming from with the different spirits...I just wasn't sure it was a good idea to handle it that way. Of course, if we all wrote our stories the same way there'd be a lot fewer of them....
