The date for signing up to the first Genfic Challenge on our sister community - the 'I ate a decorator once' aka The Missing Scene Challenge over on general_buffy rapidly approaches.

Writers are invited to join the community and sign up for the challenge by March 18th, by commenting to the entry - Challenge No. 1, with your username and email address - Details of entry requirements and dates can also be found there and on the community user info page for entry criteria and posting dates.

Please Note: This challenge will be run in conjunction with SDFA and all entries will be forwarded to Round 16 in our very own gen_storyteller category by the Mods.

PS - If you go there to read, please just 'friend' the community.

Just letting you know (and writing these down so I'll remember myself) that I've pimped the challenge/community at hellow_fic_now, baficathon, whedonverse_nb, buffy_fanfic, and also fandom_lounge on Journalfen :)

Thanks for the info. We had a flurry of join-ups yesterday and I didn't know whether to admit anyone who wasn't registered as a member here. I hope I haven't put any of your potentials off.

I think we can just add everyone who joins and then if they don't sign up, we can just take them off the members list (they probably wont even notice).
