Hello, I'm snowpuppies, moderator of kinda_gay_award, which is the first ever btvs/ats awards site dedicated to femmeslash and relationships between the females in the btvs/ats universe.




I'm posting to this community because, as a part of our inaugural round, we have a category for Best Platonic Fic, featuring platonic relationships between two or more women, either family or friendship. So if you know of a fic that showcases how beautiful a platonic relationship between two women can be, come right over and read the rules and then nominate it!

Summary: "I have no speech. No name. I live in the action of death. The blood-cry, the penetrating wound. I am destruction. Absolute. Alone." Hiywan's Story gives the First Slayer back her speech and her name, and allows us to hear about the beginning of her life-story in her own words for the first time.

Notes: The story takes place in the Great Rift Valley of East Africa at the end of the Mesolithic Era (or Middle Stone Age), approximately 8-10,000 years ago. Obviously enough, all the characters (apart from the girl who will one day become the First Slayer) are therefore OCs. *g*
