Just joined the community and decided to post an old fiction of mine.

It's a one shot William piece written for the William Ficathon a while back. In fact it's the only challenge fiction I've ever written :)

Yep, it was me! You got my request for the ficathon. I was really missing the Spike & Dawn friendship that had been developing in earlier sseasons, so hoped that William could somehow resurrect it, and you did a terrific job by using his journal to bring Spike and Dawn closer, and it was a bit like running into an old friend to see it again here. Thank you.

Lovely. Spike is a wonderful mix of savage and sweet, isn't he? I was so disappointed at how he and Dawn never got their reconciliation (on screen at least).

Yeah the Spike Dawn thing always seemed so important to me and I was cross with Xander for being the one to tell Dawn about the events of Seeing Red . I thought that they sort of patched things up in season 7 but not enough and that saddened me .
