My suspicion would be that the camel's blood is very much an acquired taste. Even if not all humans vomit after swallowing blood, it seems reasonable to me that some would. I mean, my mom throws up if she accidentally tastes anything with artificial sweeteners in it; clearly the things that make us hurl aren't universal. :p
