True, but there may be a way of making the last part more of a Spike reflecting on his past in general (aided by the booze) than Buffy in specific (although she'll have to be in there - she was part of his journey after all). But yes - it might be a big rewrite, although that could be fun to do. If I manage anything I'll run it by you before I even consider posting it!
