Walls Have Ears

If walls could talk, the Sunnydale High library would have a lot to say. Then again, so would the Hyperion hotel. Imagine the conversations they could have, about life, and about death, about right and wrong, demons and humans. Would they argue who held the better heroes? Would they join together to teach the world a lesson?
No. They would most likely stare longingly at each other, wondering why they had to be separated, wondering why they had to perish.
“I died twice.” The library would boast.
The Hyperion would smile, asking “Yes, but have you ever fought a dragon?”
